What is Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) also known as the vampire facial has been used in medicine in the management of wound healing, tissue repair and in dentistry and sports injuries. This treatment can be use din combination with vitamin infusions and Botox or Fillers.
The course uses the Cellenis technique, which uses your body’s own growth factors to repair and rejuvenate the skin. The platelets in the blood are concentrated in clear plasma. Once this plasma is injected into the skin, a large amount of growth factors are released to stimulate the soft tissue regeneration.
Pre Requisite
You must be medically qualified as a doctor, dentist or nurse with a current registration with the GMC, GDC or NMC. You must also have prior experience of taking blood and/or completing a venepuncture course. We do recommend attending our Foundation level Botox and Filler course prior to the PRP course.
